CSF School: Introduction to Tying Bass Bugs

| Course Description
On occasion, Clark-Skamania Flyfishers offers a class titled Introduction
to Tying Bass Bugs,taught by Shawn West. This is a remarkable class
that not only teaches students to tie deer hair poppers but also such renowned
flies as the Dahlberg Diver, which is used successfully world-wide in both
salt and fresh water. Students receive one-on-one instruction each week
from Mr. West, who is one of the most highly respected tyers in the region.
The class generally meets once a week for two hours over a five-week period.
This is an advanced course, designed for experienced tyers.
Cost and Class Size Because of the nature of this class, space is
limited to six students and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What You Need to Bring Should you wish to take the course, you will need to bring a vise and
and the usual selection of tools, including at least one package of double-edge
razor blades. All tying materials are provided as part of the course fee.
