CSF School: Introduction to Tying Bass Bugs

Course Description

On occasion, Clark-Skamania Flyfishers offers a class titled Introduction to Tying Bass Bugs, taught by Shawn West. This is a remarkable class that not only teaches students to tie deer hair poppers but also such renowned flies as the Dahlberg Diver, which is used successfully world-wide in both salt and fresh water. Students receive one-on-one instruction each week from Mr. West, who is one of the most highly respected tyers in the region. The class generally meets once a week for two hours over a five-week period. This is an advanced course, designed for experienced tyers.
